Reason 69 to be Jealous of Jeff

ok so i dont normally blog about my beer escapades but this one deserves mention
I went to the DogfishHead beer tasting last night and it was wonderful
4 verticals

Burton Baton 2005 and 2008

Apparently this beer comes from an old Ballantine recipe. The 2005 was amazing


Immort Ale 2006 and 2009

Um yummy! again the older beer had a much more mature and carmel flavor


120 2006 and 2009

20% abv probably my favorite of the night

The 2009 was lighter and had peach and grapefruit flavors

the 2006 was much much smoother and may possibly have the title of Favorite Beer Ever







Fort 2005 and 2009





This beer is 18% abv and is rasberry flavored


Served with chocolates it was a perfect paring.





The 2009 was crisp and clean while the 2005 was mellow with carmel overtones.











Ive been to a few beer tastings but this one had some of the best aged beers ive had in quite awhile
